What would the proper backspace be for a 6x15 steel wheel on a SWB car? 43/4, 5 inches? I'm having 5 made. This is probably a Harvey question, but some of you might have tried something different. Any pictures out there?

I found a few threads that answered my question.

I have one I picked up a while back. This particular one has 4" backspacing.

It looks cool but could you get a 205/60/15 in the back of a SWB car without rubbing the fender? I would think it would need to be a 185/70/15 or maybe 195/65/15.
I like the looks of this car but I think he went with 7's out back. It also looks to be a LWB car.

Alloy is about 4 3/4 or so.
Steel with its bigger lip return is about 4 7/8 or so.
I would consider making the backspace a little bigger on a SWB with 6X15s....Although the 205/60X15s with 6X15s fit on my 67 with no rubbing.
It is nice to have a little room for tire variance or flexing...

This one just came today. I'll put a tire on tomorrow and check the offset.
