    Unstamped 1R/2R case

I got this case but it is too early for my 71. Checked out as good with no line bore needed. No stamping for engine number or type number.I believe it is correct for late 68 or 69
Asking 6k or trade for good 3R/4R unstamped case.

The white film is the preservative oil I sprayed on before putting it in storage.

Sale pending. no marks in thermostat area, build #20 stamped on upper 2 case halves. Where else should I look for a date stamp?

I have the same case and I've never been able to find any markings on it anywhere whatsoever. Mine is a complete motor so it's not as readily visible as this case though. If you find any markings let me know where they're at.
