    1968 Porsche 911 Transmission 901/05 Special Order Gears

    Clearing out my SWB parts. This is one of the few 911 specific parts I have so figure'd I'd cross post here incase anyone is in Los Angeles for the Phoenix. According to the serial number I understand this is for a 1968 911 (and that the "/05" does not represent special gearing as in title." I have not opened the box to confirm what gears are in it though unfortunately. Asking $1,250 Located in Baldwin Park, CA

    Back for sale. I am redacting the "special gearing" description as I have been informed by a knowledgeable party that the "/05" does not necessarily signify special order. Sorry to confuse anyone, consider this a core transmission for a 1968 911.

    Yep, it is a bog standard A-F-M-S-X originally, essentially the same as a type 902/1.
