    Fs: 1967 911S "1QuickS"

I offer for sale my 1967 911S that I have owned since 1979. It was built in late October or early November 1966 and is chassis number 306602S. I have worked on this car to make it the best possible representation of a period-correct, "Performance Oriented" SWB 911S and this has been an on-going process since I acquired it. I performed all work myself except for the engine assembly which I entrusted to Ed Mayo. My project started long before the "R Gruppe" and was before the great increase in SWB vehicle pricing. When I acquired the car I was searching for a rust-free chassis after having a rusty 1967 911 Normal and another rusty 1968 911S. The only rust issue on the car at the time I acquired it was in the rear corners of the rear window where the defroster tubes collected water and rusted holes through. I spliced in OEM corners and once that was complete the chassis was solid. The car has enjoyed a long ownership with it being kept in a heated garage and driven exclusively in fair weather conditions. 100% of everything has been disassembled, stripped, straightened, refurbished, replaced or modified down to the smallest cup washer in the emergency brake assembly.

My car is "1QuickS" and rewards the better than average driver with its visceral, urgent and immediate driving characteristics.

If it is a little loud then a quieter muffler and the cut-down OEM air cleaner housing that is included may be installed along with sound blanket on roof of engine bay.

I built it to maintain an OEM appearance to the casual observer while delivering stellar road performance.

It drives with very nice street manners and smooth acceleration; however, it will blow your hair back!

Look for this on Bring a Trailer in the near future.
