    '72 Targa rear wiper?

    Any chance these are supposed to park on the right? I've seen pictures of both, but this looks dumb.

    Aaron, my 72 COUPE parks on the left,,,, vertically, and the wiper axis hole is also on the left. I thought for right hand drive the axis hole was on the right??? Saw a picture of left drive targa with wiper axis on left where the wiper parked horizontally. My thought was that that was wrong?

    Left hand car...but yeah, it just looks wrong, Maybe someone screwed with the linkage...

    As stated before, wiper should be stored in vertical position on Targa, as its the case with Coupe. Horizontal as in post 5 would not be period correct.

    Below a period factory pic from 1971 (LHD car) from my literature collection.
    There are many period pics but most show Coupe, this below is one of the few period pictures showing a Targa with rear wiper.

    Peter's Canford pic is correct for RHD cars from 1965 to the SC in 1978
    after the SC arrived all rear wipers were on the left side of the window
