    PRESS receivers identification

    Do you know where these receivers are coming from?
    Longer tong than regular 72/73 receivers and vw logo.

    Looks like home made metal plate, Press part could be from VW Golf (Rabbit).

    Not home made. Material, shape, color, etc are identical to 72/73 911 receivers.

    I had a set that was similar only MUCH longer that I believe came from an early/mid 70's VW bus. I'll see if I can find a photo.

    They are home made from the long VW receiver in the last post. The Porsche one's have an indentation in the metal plate on both edges.
    That is the only difference that can't be replicated.
