Help - Left Rear Hard Brake Line Routing '70E

I recently bought the new brake line set from Stoddard (SIC-355-700-10). Supposed to fit 1969-1977. Yesterday I test fit all the lines and fittings. Seems like everything will fit with a little gentle persuasion.

That is except for the left rear hard line from the tee fitting to the junction fitting. On my '73, this line routes behind and up over the top of the torsion tube. I cannot see how the line from the Stoddard kit will fit. It looks nothing like the line on my '73. See the attached photo.

    Any suggestions?

Is it reversed? Trying to remember how it went when I did this. It took some playing around to figure it out.

I spoke to the folks at Stoddard this morning. Apparently their supplier assembled these kits with the wrong piece for the left rear. The correct part is now on its way to me thanks to their excellent customer service.

I think that photo is for a SWB car. As best I know, the 69 and later cars had the rear tee in a different orientation and location.

Yes, SWB. The point was that what the tab at top of TBT is for.

If you put the bolts in the other way around you will be able to R&R the arms without pulling the engine.

Or you could saw through 8.8 KAMAX bolts like I did twelve years ago. . .
