    Fog light

I just wanted to make sure that I am attaching the fog light correctly to my 1972 911T. The bracket has two holes where I had expected only one. Do I need to drill a hole, or does it connect to one of the existing holes? If so, which one?TXName: IMG_6470.JPG

Not sure about the 72 - my car is a 66. You should have a hole above that since the fog light are held from the top.

Look at this thread - you will see the bumper upside down http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...616-111-010-05

Unfortunately not true. The 139 lights mount from the back and into the bracket as shown in the OP's photograph. Your comment is correct for the earlier 128 fog lights.

I just checked my '71 Targa and mine are both bolted through the outer most hole on both sides.

Time for some abject speculation. OP/s photo shows two mounting holes in the bracket. The right hand hole should position the 139 light in a roughly straight ahead position. Was Porsche thoughtful enough to provide the other hole for those rally cars that often had the under bumper lights aimed slightly outward to illuminate corners? Scroll through this thread for examples of the angled mounting: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...os-Porsche-911
