    Anyone recognise this race MFI pump

    What have I stumbled upon here?

    Body built 40th week 1972

    No other tags other than the one in the pic

    Anyone got any clues please

    Think the code says 2.4E pump but sure doesn't look like one and that is a hell of a modification!!!

    That's a Mercedes rear cover on the 2.4E pump. The only mods I see are the Red vent cap and the thermostat 6mm rod hole plugged and the fuel adjuster screw on the small top plate. I wonder what space cam is inside?
