Red face Broken Diff Set Tool !

Ok so some one was a little heavy handed with the OE Porsche diff setting tool and the result is the tiny rocker arm that is made of some very substandard plastic falls apart, so what do i do first Solidworks comes into play and we reverse engineered the part but in a virtually indestructible material, so the £1000 + tool is now as new.
If anyone needs one i have 4 left and they can be bought for £195 each +vat and shipping

I hope this will help some one out.

I think I know the answer but...
Are you selling the complete tool, or just the plastic part?

    Regards

Hi Reuben your theory was most likely correct i can supply only the part that gets worn out or broken i only did the work as my own tool got broken it was a costly exercise to get it correct but as always i like a challenge, as i said i have 4 left sat on engine shop cupboard [made 6]
The tool is still available from VW but very expensive i would start hunting dealers that don't know what they are looking at to find a good used unit if your looking for a kit.
I have also just made another batch of Straight cut intergears / solid rocker arms / shafts / sealing kits for RSR also re cast the rear suspension arm spring plate with the needle roller bearings [I needed the parts for a project and a restoration job] i will get some photos together of the hard to find parts i keep that may help some of the members out.

    Regards Neil
