    1 and 2 are white (8 amps)
    3 and 4 are blue (25 amps)
    5 till 12 are white (8 amps)

The clock is supplied from the 2nd fuse (the black wire)
If your clock does not work, the interior light will also not work ?
The cigarette lighter comes from the same fuse (the red-black wire)

Always use ceramic fuses and not the plastic ones !

    I hope this helped.

I will check the interior light , yesterday I was using my cigarette lighter to provide power for my little air pump for a tire flat. And suddenly stop working the lighter and the clock.

The Numbering you mentioned above is looking at the fuse box from the windshield to the frt bumper or the opposite way around ?

I hope the ceramic fuses are available at my local auto zone .

    Thanks !

Years ago, probably decades ago, I bought Buss/bussmann glass fuses with stainless ends, and those solved the frequent cleaning of the fuse terminals. They look all wrong, but worked great for me. Sometimes called torpedo fuses.

Bussmann part is the GBC series, available all over ebay.

Number one is the fuse with 3 wires on each side.

If you can't get the ceramic fuses locally we can deliver them from stock:https://www.kroonwireharnesses.com/i...95&search=fuse

(Only problem will be the shipping costs from our side of the world)

These ceramic fuses (use only ones with brass, not aluminum) are abundant and inexpensive on eBay. Try "Porsche 911 fuses" on your search. Also, being in Mexico you have many older VW's and these used the same ceramic fuses. Surely there are parts stores or repair shops that have the proper fuses, in your area.

Old thread but a similar question. My Bentley is only 78 onward so no help. Short story I've got 4 reds from the front, 7 whites and one red last. Which is for what and are they correct. Shop did some work and swapped for new but not what I recall. Everything works, just a knowledge question.

What year car? Fuse count changed over the years. You are showing 12 fuses. My 1973.5 has 20 in the front in three separate boxes. Up to 68, there were 12 fuses. 69 had 16, and 70 to 73 have 18 (plus two for AC).
