    Disc Brake to Wide Five conversion

    Saw a picture of disc brake conversion to wide five, on a 912 at Luft this weekend, any info please. Gordon

    It's an odd request but surely someone saw these at Luft5 and knows maker. My friend said they were on a 912. Gordon

    That sho is a lot 'o lugs. Considering the additional un-sprung weight, why would anyone do this? It isn't even particularly cool looking.

    ditto..... maybe the guy wants to install james bond style spikes on it and 5 just does not cut it for him? not my car.

    He wants a wide five look on his disc brake 912, got it... but with 10 lugs. Hub caps on, there's no difference in appearance.

    Sorry, just seems like an odd thing to do. There's probably a solution with one of the wide 5 disc kits available to achieve his objective.
