    1972 Injection pump rebuild options?

Working on my 72T, thinking about having the injection pump rebuilt/serviced.
It just dosnt run right after it is warmed up?

    Any options?

Why do you conclude it's the pump? What does "doesn't run right" mean.

    A few time-honored axioms:

    1) Usually what you think is a fuel problem is in fact an ignition problem; and

    2) Usually when you think your pump needs rebuilding, it doesn't.

Have you done CHECK MEASURE ADJUST?

Currently working on determining the problem but in the event it is the injection pump, I am being proactive in what my injection pump options are.

Gus just had heart by-pass surgery so you will need to be patient.

if it starts acting up as it gets warm, I'd look at the throttles (air leaks)

The Porsche Check Measure and Adjust is really a great step-by-step to determine what's wrong.

    Describe further your running problem.<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/41005646/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/41005646/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

Sorry to hear about Gus! Let's hope they did as good a job on his heart as he did on my motor's heart..... I wish him the speediest of recoveries.
