    Front dash trim

Is the vinyl on the front dash trim stuck direct to the alloy trim or to a thin steel template which is then slid onto the alloy trim?

I have seen both and not sure which is correct.

The radio and the triangle had thin steel templates.

    Blind lining

    Clyde,

It is more complicated that I thought as well. Here pdf's of the 69/70 spare parts catalog. I am sure this is also for later years. There are metal plates, I think 0.75mm thickness but it differs which car or version had them.
