    Replacement door keys needed

I've lost the keys to the doors. Does anyone know the easiest way to get a new key made, without having one to be copied?

Also would anyone know if the door key is the same key used for the glove box?

    Help appreciated!

Depending on the year of your car Stoddard sells some key blanks - if you take out the cylinder and find a good locksmith they should be able to make the keys for you. There is also a few 'vendors' here on the early S who will do that for you if you send them your handle or cylinders

if your locks are still original to the car you should be able to get the key code from Porsche (you obviously will need to give vin number and proof of ownership) and have one cut to the code by a number of different vendors who have been mentioned on the board
and yes the door key is the same as the glove box BUT there are "valet keys" as well (the red ones in an original set) that will work all but the glove box.

Your local Porsche dealer will help you.
VIN, paperwork and maybe the car is needed to proof that you are the owner.

They shouldn´t give you the number of the key without a proof. But if you once have a key purchased, check the bag of the key. Normally the number is written there.
