    windshield washer problem

    Hi, me again,
after a few days of work on my new car, everything works except for one thing, the windshield washer.
When I pull the lever, the wiper moves but nothing comes out of the washers.
I found the pump near the tank, and if I plug it directly to the battery, the washers work and I get water on the windshield.
So, the lever works and the pump works, there is something wrong between these two elements.
Does someone know where I should start looking?

    Thanks,

Take a test light and Check the rely that is connected to the washer pump first check for power to it and have someone actavite the switch in the car and see what kind of power is going through to the washer pump wire

Thanks, I found the solution yesterday, a wire was unplugged. What is strange is that I then had to inverse wires on the pump (brown on - and black on +) because fluid was pumped on the wrong way ???! Whatever, it now works as everything else on my 911 which is really great.

Brown is ground on European cars. Black is power to the pump.
