This 69S has been off & on SAMBA for over a year, there must be a story of why it's non-sale.

Too many Porsches and one VW are starting to fill up my desert landscape.

From the ad:
Porsche South Bay is proud to offer this Collector Quality example of the one year only Long Wheel Base, Two Liter
MFI combination, 1969 911 S. Finished in the very striking original color combination of Ossi Blue over Black Leatherette and maintaining it's original matching numbers drive line per the included COA. We recently acquired this 911 from the owner of Stoddard / NLA (the world leader in Porsche classic parts) in a multi car transaction. It has benefited from extensive maintenance and restoration while in Stoddard's care dating back to 2006. Cosmetic restoration invoices total over $35913. The Parts total exceeds $14551 while service invoices from Steinel's (the Oh region's premier 911 service facility) total in excess of $26755. The total for all invoices exceeds $77K while under Stoddard's ownership. Included are the original books, tool kit, jack and records dating back to the early 80's. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer example of the incredibly rare 69' S with better records and touched by the right hands at this price anywhere. Contact Carl Tofflemire Director of Classic Operations at Porsche South Bay personally for any further details or to arrange a viewing.

Over Priced
Its almost like the 2 liter 69 S is not as sought after as a 67 S even though it has MFI. The ride is better than a 67 and is a LWB. When I see Wanted ads for 911S's on the internet; They most always say they are looking for a 1970 to 1973 911S. Chris

Don't worry about the 69S.
If the SWB had any real-world panache likely some profiteer would be backdating.
And PORSCHE sure never went back to the 'shortie'...
Plus- the 69S's younger sisters are heavier, lazier, and more abundant.
It would be a long time before a stock PORSCHE could roll 95HP/Liter again.
And it wouldn't be air-cooled.
1492 69S' were made and those who have a good one don't worry about selling them.
If they worry at all it is about KEEPING them!
