    Looking down the road...

I love STs, but I think it would be too much of a change for me. My son Mike, sent me these photos the other day that he found on IG. Very similar to Daisy but with what I believe are RS flares on the car; I like the extra width.
What is the width of those RS flares, front and rear, and width of ST flares?

    Serge,

They are commonly referred to as 8 inch flares, to fit an 8" wheel with an appropriate size tire comfortably...
The actual offset size of the flare I think is about 2 1/2 inches... I trust someone will know this exactly

BTW the S/C flare has an identical clearance, just the outer lip contour is different...

I have always wondered what "ST" means?

    S for sport
    E for einspritzmotor, einspritzung
    T for touring
    L for luxury

    R for Rennen

    but what is ST?

    It's a special T, or "specialty".

I'm willing to bet my paycheck( I don't have one, TG) that those are garden variety SC
flares on the rear and stock "LWB" flares on the front. SC flares will accommodate a 16 X 9
Factory alloy shod with a 245 X 45 X 16 tire with no issues. Real "ST" flares are much
    Wider and shaped much differently.
Where is Gib when we need him?

Thanks, guys. Jim, you are absolutely correct of the SC and G-Model flares...my 87 had 7s and 9s with Euro height, running 225/50 16s and 245/45 16s. I still have a set of sticker Bridgestone Potenza 245/45 16 RE11s in my garage and no car to put them on.
