    Jay Leno was one of the judges. He and shop manager Bernard Juchli brought out their MB transporter recreation....
    I had lunch with Bernard and he said the factory only made one of these in the day (it had early 300SL running gear) The factory trashed the real one around 1960...…
    Some time later they recreated it exactly.
    This one is one of a few that have been recreated since.... didn't ask about the running gear...

    Bernard said it would have been cool if they put Jay's SL on the thing, but they ran out of time...

    One of the biggest highlights of the show for me was the Meyers Manx collection with nonother than 93 year old Bruce Meyers holding court...…… And still funny and sharp as a tack....WOW !!! …
