Hello How about 5.5 X 15 out law wheels with knock of hub caps? Way lighter than Coddington wheels.
Send email address for pictures. George

    OG 'GT' Wheels . . .

. . . had a full set o' these on my old Roadster. Stupid-light. Shoulda seen the look on the Tire Guy's face, 1st time he handled one = priceless

Took me a LONG time to get all five, too --- those 're 4-inchers. (!) Found the last one under a workbench in Oklahoma. Think that Guy was more surprised than I was. Have you ever tried to find 4-inchers?

Try the 356 Registry site? Jus' sayin'

The Karmann steel-alloy rims just dont look right to me with polished rims, originals were painted to disguise them. Early versions had thinner gauge centers that were prone to cracking. Representatives used to trade thick center for the thin center wheels at race tracks. I found one steel-alloy wheel on my Belgian roadster and sold it to Rolly for a whopping $400.
