Just saw this company on my FB feed. Looked to have lots of early wrecks. Their website is a challenge to navigate. Any experiences?

They are ok, Rob has now been in the business for a long time. Speak with him personally to get the best service. He is out in the sticks where he found a lot of covered storage but was originally a Connecticut boy
We have had good experiences with Robert and his crew. Glad that we still have some knowledgeable resources for parts on our early cars

Yes, generally good. I bought a perfect dash from them 8 years ago which was damaged in transit because of very poor packing. Some other items stuffed in the box damaged the dash, not the shipper. After a bit of back and forth, they sent another one.
They can have some hard to find original bits and also sell repro stuff if that’s your cup of tea.
I actually like their web site. I use it as a reference over the PET often.

+1 on DC Automotive, great experiences buying bits and pieces from them.
If you ever get a chance to go there, it's a strange feeling to be inside a building, with shells, wrecks, and cars as far as the eye can see.
I've dealt with Rob for years, we send people back and forth all week, he's mostly post 74, I'm strictly pre-74.

I have had the horrible luck to have dealt with them. I bought two 914/6 motors that were described as rebuildable and complete so I paid 3.0L core motor pricing for them. As soon as the engines arrived I found a destroyed by fire original air cleaner (one of the big selling points). As I disassembled the engine every part I found was wrong or rusted junk. They even used 100 grit sand paper to sand the insides of the cylinders to remove the rust. I am pretty sure they removed all the good parts from the engines and put junk parts back in the engines they sold me, the parts were attached hand tight in most cases. When I called Rob he said he would make it right, then he sent more mismatched unusable junk. Knowledgeable? What a joke they don’t know the difference between 2L and 2.2L heads and cylinders.
