    Build date for 9112100635

Might anyone with a VIN near this one be able to venture a guess? Trying to locate wheels that could be considered original to the car. I have read here on the forum that the first 72 model year cars off the line have a build date as early as March 71. Thanks, MikeName: x9.jpg

My '72T is 9112100317 and is 8/71 build. Yours is probably either late in 8/71 or 9/71.

Mike 9112100799 was 18 November 1971. 00483 was in October but I don't know the exact date. So I would say yours is late October / early November. Any wheels with a September or October 71 date or even a bit earlier would be "data matching"

the only "72my" car built as early as March 71 would have been pre production cars - the real model cars would have come off the line after summer break typically mid to late August.

9112100635 is almost certainly an Oct build. There are a few members with cars in the 600 range that might be contacted to see what date their rims are.

Hugh, can you check your serial number please. That is exactly the same number as my 72my 911T

that is NOT my car - I am sure it is yours
I have a database collected over time from public record of vins with dates etc on them so i can help answer queries like the one in this post - as does Dave P

If I recall correctly you would have posted it on this board some time ago - I try to keep the list in vin order for each type of car and 0799 was the closest T in my database to the number in the initial inquiry

With coups and Targas, T’s E’s & S’s are the VIN #’s or Production more sequential. G
