Damn. That is some racing. I don't know who those guys were, but if I did that in a vintage race the stewards would come strolling by afterwards to chat about what the Brits call "aggro".

Great to watch you would think tht they were running on old bias ply tires the way he was sawing that wheel Some really nice power sides in there as well, on purpose or not.
Thanks, Rick
So, just now Don Racine posted a video of some of his very close racing at CSRG-Sonoma this past weekend. It did not end well.

great, close racing by a couple of drivers who have good car control and obviously respect for each other.
It's vintage racing. The 99 car should have let the camera car by. He (the camera car) was clearly faster and was being blocked by the 99 car. Not cool IMHO. Fun to watch, though.

They are running Avon CR6ZZ see https://peterauto.peter.fr/wp-conten...p%20-%20V1.pdf
Jim, with all due respect it is racing, not lapping. I don't see any more blocking by the camera car than I do by the 99 car. In Europe they race a lot harder than some of our vintage groups do here. I heard a very experienced racer once describe blocking as "moving in response". Although I haven't watched all of the video, I don't see any of that, at all, by either driver. Just good clean fun with no bumping or grinding. Yes, they did give each other the proverbial "car width and a sheet of paper"......
