Is there someone who offers alu bumpers, door skins, exhausts or other alu panels for swb 911?
I only found rear and front lids.
Kind regards.
Bernd

The window frames for the 1968 year model are aluminum vs. chrome plated brass used through 1967. If you remove anodizing and polish the aluminum then it looks like chrome.

Thank you Paul.
Andy do the 73 door panels fit for a 65 door?
I want to save weight for a rallye car without using gfk parts. What about the bumpers?
The car should look quite original and not like the lightest Porsche 911 from Richard King (see Karmann Konnection lightest 911 in youtube) which looks extremely bizarre, as each sheet is perforated with countless holes.
Especially the dashboard looks strange.
In the video Richard King also mentions an alu exhaust pipe. Does someone have experience with such parts?
Kind regards.

Bernd, I'm not vouching for this particular skin's fitment but if it fits 73 then it also fits 65. The skins were the same 65-89, the official (steel) part fits all https://www.stoddard.com/91153120200grv.html

Aase has an aluminum hood.
You might try Jon here for other panels. He has done some for a 69 Coupe I'm building for a friend.
