Restoration of 67s - Upgrades? Turbo Tie rods vs. original

Question 2: My 67s has had an upgrade to turbo tie rods in the past. It seems in good condition, but I am trying to determine if I should restore it to the type of tie rod assembly that was original to the car.

    Opinions/Pros/Cons?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Maybe I asked a sacrilegious question to all the early 911 people. No one answered my question.

I won’t have my feelings hurt if you tell me I’m crazy to consider keeping the turbo tie rods on a 67s!

That option was recommended, but I went original.

I would and have upgraded to Turbo's. It's not something intergal with the car and can easily be switched back if needed

This depends on your restoration. Are you trying win awards or just restore to drive. If you're going to drive it then Turbo Tie rods are a fantastic upgrade!
