Thread: take off knob?

    take off knob?

    Before I exert more extreme efforts.... How do these knobs come off??? They just turn and not back off.... I pried, but they did not budge....

    OK................ remembered that i had a few of these knobs in my parts pile. I was able to fish out of the knob a friction collar thinggy like the one used in the 1968 gear shift knob... So it presses on.
