Any of you guys attending? Registration began at 12 ET today and it took me 30 minutes to get registered with the website timing out multiple times. This would be my first Parade so I don't know what to expect.

It took me about 15 minutes to register for the same reason. I've attended many Parades (including the same venue at French Lick in 2015). You can do/participate in as much or little as you want, and during the Phase II registration I'd encourage you to sign up for a volunteer shift or two...endless need for help. Will you be bringing your 1970 911S, and if so, will you be entering it in one of the concours classes? Let me know what your specific interests are and I can provide more help understanding all that is Parade
Thanks for the suggestion to volunteer. I've always enjoyed finding ways to contribute to any club/event I'm a part of. I haven't decided which car I'll bring yet and never participated in a Concours. I'd like to be judged only to know what is not correct on the car so I can address it. You'll probably find me attending the various clinics.
Is there plenty of things to keep my family (kids ages 5-12) occupied if they don't attend Parade events? They'd be happy to spend time at the Resort pool.
Yes to 'Parade Kids' events...plenty for them to do on their own or through the activities the Parade has available to them. Highly encourage you to concour one of your cars...they have classes at all levels of scrutiny from easy to severeYou can do an online search for Parade PCR (Parade Competition Rules) and you will see a very detailed concours section showing the various classes.
Well, the concours prep area (which starts on the Friday preceding the Monday concours, is THE social event that I look forward to the most, and not every concours class requires Q-tips![]()
I'll be there as well, usually judging and then my favorite, the autocross. Don't be afraid to dip your toes in the concours. As Mac says treat it as more of a social event, just keep your expectations in line,,,,and no, the judges aren't out to embarrass you. It's no different than a corner worker reporting that I hit a cone ! French Lick is a great venue,,,downtown is across the street from the host hotel, don't need to drive everyplace.

I will be there also. It will be my 19th parade. Haven't been to a Parade in quite a while and am looking forward to seeing people I haven't seen for years. (Hi Ed)
I will have a car in the historic display and all I can say about it is that they want the cars to be a bit of a surprise.
Hey Ed see U there in July
