I'm looking to do something a bit different with my hot rod/rally build.
I have some hood mount rally lights but am thinking of doing something below the bumper instead.
Anyone have any photos they could dig up and share?
Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay, not an early car but a 69S shortly after delivery from the factory. I think these look great and are going to ge reinstated when the car comes back from the bodyshop.....![]()
Thank You! If you can come up with any detail shots in the future that would be great!

A few details on the way extra lights are attached at the horn grill location. In the parts book pages, the SWB bracket is #60, and the LWB bracket is #47, SWB is mounted to the top of the bumper, and the LWB is mounted to the battery boxes. The orange car is the factory 1969 GT, Marathon de la Route winner. and the police car is factory built. In the 73 Carrera RS book, it also shows round lights mounted to the lower edge of the front spoiler bumper, but can't find them listed in the parts catalog... both of the example photos seem to use the SWB bracket. And I think the car in the #2 post also uses the SWB bracket... Jay, I hope this helps...

I went back to the 72/73 parts book and did find the parts to mount the lights below the 72/73 spoiler front bumper. Listed are the part numbers, but no diagrams. When you find a dash - in the first column it means no drawing of the part... I'm sure this is what is shown in Long Rangers cop car photo.

The bracket for the "below bumper mount" that Ernie indicates actually mounts to the underside of the whole bumper.
2007 discussion on this and a full front picture I posted back then of the lilac RS with lights
