Looking for a Mechanic that really knows MFI

I am looking for a mechanic within NJ,PA,NY that is an expert on MFI. I could travel further for the right guy. I really have no pressing reason as it always starts without hesitation even if I have left it sitting for months, and it runs strong. It just hasn't had a check up in many years and backfires once and a while. Could just be the crappy fuel but I want to be sure. Any recommendations?

    Thanks - Chris

Thanks Mark. I never think about Peter with MFI. I know one of his mechanics and will chat with him a bit regarding it.

Chris, If the old girl starts without hesitation after sleeping for a few months and runs strong I would say that all is ok with the MFI and the odd backfire may be something as simple as a minor exhaust leak somewhere.

Have you tried Peter Potzinger? https://potzingerrewerks.com/ I have seen MFI engines at his shop before.
