    Wiper harness wiring 1968 Targa

My question is where to go with two wires coming from the wiper switch of my 1968 Targa. The photo shows the red/white stripe and the red/black stripe wires. I have not seen these colors on any diagrams, including Kroon’s. In addition, I’m using a blade style ignition switch whose terminals are numbered in a slightly different way compared to the bullet style.Name: 02.jpg

Who did you buy the harness from? It looks new. The red black could possibly be cigarette lighter, and red white could be radio to 54 of the ignition switch. You need to check continuity of the ignition switch and that would tell you if 54 was in fact accessory with position. I would have to be there to see how the rest of the harness and bulkhead plugs connect then I could trace circuits, that's why I suggest contacting harness maker, they would know! A wiring schematic is really a necessity.

Thank you for the tips. I believe that you are correct. But, still I'll trace them back through the bulkhead plugs.
