Euro Bosch taillight cores and lenses

    Hi All,

I have for sale a very nice solid set of rear light lenses and housing. All original. The lenses have very minimal signs of wear ( tiny scratches) they are clear and euro style with black frames. Originally on the 1973 models (also RS) and the later G models. Please correct me if I am wrong. The housings are very solid as you can see. The inner side needs a new silver layer of paint. The sale includes the electrical cables if desired.

The total set is for sale for 800 euro. Prefer one sale but for the right price the lenses are also for sale seperately.

I agree, the lenses are euro. The housing is USA. Both original products. The difference is the silver vs white inside. And the USA version has an extra side light due to US rules.

Ps the housing needs inner paint white or silver to make them pristine.

Euro housings were painted white on 2/3 of the interior. And they did not have the outside small bulb reflector and bulb:

U.S. housings were painted silver on the interior. And they had the extra bulb:

They both had the plastic reflector over the top. The Euro housings had reflectors with legs while the U.S. reflectors had no legs and snapped into place.

These are March 86 dated US SC housings with the close to the reflector placed drain holes.

Johns US-ROW comparison also shows bumper model/SC housings.

Dave shows a correct left ROW 72/73 housing, not sure about the right side.

Another tell is the large drain holes in the housings. They were close to the outside through (I think) 1973-1974 then moved more to the inside. They're interchangeable as long as you drill new holes in either the car or the housings.
