Post FS: Scheel 303 almost perfect

I go on in reducing my Scheel collection and offer a Scheel 303 in almost perfect condition.
It comes with a matching pair of Scheel sliders. The base underneath is only for display and not part of this offer.
The seat is located in Germany.

Price idea is 1200 USD obo incl. shipping.

I don't know the exact period but they're already in the '74 brochure, maybe even older.

from model year 1974 the "seat fashion" changed dramatically. porsche itself took an exemplary approach here (see the series seats from model 1974 - i think these seats are called "tombstones" in the usa?). Safety was a top priority and the headrests were integrated into the seat. so it is quite easy to estimate the lower year of construction for this seat too. from model year 1974 the models 301/302/303 came with an integrated headrest. the popular 300 with a removable headrest was manufactured in parallel for a while. the seat was quite expensive at the time - in 1975, for example, it was listed with 700DM in cord design, nomex 800DM. for comparison Scheel 300 at that time 350DM. The exact year your 303 was built cannot be determined - in the version, for example, in a 1978 catalog. but by no means before 1974. a seat like this fits perfectly in a 2.7 or early SC. You can also easily see from the rails that this is the version after 1973. Hope I could help a bit. regards uwe
