Most good lock smiths can cut the keys by code. If you want actual Porsche keys try Tony Eugano in PA. He will also cut them using the code.

Zündschloß-Nr. = Ignition Lock (and key) Number.

    kardex key number question

I'm not sure what year 911 you have. But, on the earliest cars, an ignition key number starting with FL was for a locking steering column and a number starting with a K was a non-locking steering column.

The "K" Porsche key blanks are fairly easy to find--they're identical to the late 356 keys. The "FL" Porsche key blanks are a challenge (Sierra Madre Collection has perfectly useable but non-identical blanks). Some correct-looking "FL" key blanks have been offered in the Early 911S Registry classifieds.
