    FS: @eBay - 1975 Porsche 911 Targa 3.0 Turbo Look $33,000 OBO

ust when you thought there were no more bargains in the 911 world, we bring you this diamond in the rough. Here we have a 1975 Porsche 911 Targa updated with a 3.0 engine and a complete period Turbo look. It doesn't get more period than this, plus you get the added benefit of a bulletproof 3-liter engine.

The good news is the car looks amazing from 10 or 15 feet away. The bad news is that the paint is terrible. There are numerous chips and holes in the paint, and even the spots that look good from that 10 feet I mentioned are not great up close. The car was in an accident at some point and the repair to the front nose section was crude. The battery box was pounded back into shape some time ago, and the front bumper and valence exhibit a different shade of white than the rest of the car. The interior looks good, including the manual seats with red centers and vintage Fittipaldi Personal leather steering wheel. The instrument bezels are showing age, and the oil temperature gauge doesn't appear to be reading. Radio deleted. The car wears original 15x7 and 15x8 Fuchs wheels. Front and rear Turbo flares are steel. Bumpers and trim are factory parts. This 911 also wears an early-style Turbo whale tail. The removable targa top is in solid shape with good vinyl. Underneath, the car shows evidence of repairs to the floors, see pics.

The original 2.7 engine was replaced with a complete 3.0 from a 911SC. Mechanically the car fires right up and idles down in 2-3 minutes as it starts to warm up just as it should. The engine makes tons of power (see video) and feels great. Brake feel is solid.

If you've been yearning for a quick 911 but weren't ready to shell out top dollar for a prime example, this is an opportunity not to be missed. It needs work to be nice again, but the fun factor is already there. Don't miss out!

Car has a clean title and is ready for International shipping.

Adam - if a current photo, it looks like you are having a 'mild' winter in a typically very snowy region!

It's been one of those years, we get a little snow, then it melts, then we get some more. This was Christmas eve.
