    AGM battery option?

    Is there an AGM battery option that fits and terminals on the right sides etc? Going to need new batteries (73 911) soon and don't want any liquid acid in any cars anymore...

    Love any recommendations, thanks muchly.

    The gel Sonnenschein batteries are your best alternative.

    I’ve had good service with Odyssey Batteries. Small size AGM.

    +1 on the Sonnenschein.

    They are gel batteries and same size as the originals

    ++1 on Sonnenschein.

    Many of us get them from Lauderdale Battery (954-525-5557) – Sonnenschein A512/40A

    Silly expensive x 2, but it's a direct fit and no spills.

    +++1 on Sonnenschein. Actually very reasonably priced in Canada. I got two and dressed them up a bit.

    Ahh yes the Sonnenshein looks like the plan, is there a specific one of that 500 series that is the best spec for us?

    much thanks!

    The A512/40A as shown above. I paid $185 each plus shipping last year from Lauderdale Battery. I think Ed Mayo uses them too, that's who led me to them.

    I paid $171 (Canadian) each from a place just down the road, but not sure they ship to the US.
