    Looking for Plating Shop

As you may recall, the process I use to restore headlight reflectors is vapor deposited aluminum. There are four steps involved: clean things to the substrate; cooper plate; nickel plate and polish; apply vapor deposited aluminum.

I use a typical chroming shop for the first three steps as those are the same steps used for triple chrome plating. The chrome shop that I've dealt with for several years has gone out of business (California regulations) and I'm looking for another one. The process is a little less demanding than chrome plating so I don't need the Queen City Plating's of the world, just a good solid and reliable operation, preferably in the NW. Please let me know if you have a favorite shop. Thanks for your help.

    Cheers,
    John

    John,

You might try Art Brass Plating in Seattle. They worked magic on some front bumperettes that were rusted through.
