    SWB Chrome Seat Recliners

Decent pair of chrome seat recliners. Strange, or maybe rare, in that they are for left side of car but have lock release mechanism for tilting the seat back forward. So they're either for RH drive car .. or maybe late SWB cars also had driver seat lock for tilting seat back? $175 for pair plus shipping to ContUS

I’m pretty sure I still have them. I’ll check tomorrow.

That’s not strange at all. They are from a 1968 ym car. US delivered cars had seat back locks on both sides. You are missing the plastic covers that would have been black.

Thanks Jim, and also to Jim R, for clarifying. Good to learn something new every day -- another 68 only feature! We have to assume pre-68 cars had the passenger side seat latched so hard braking/racing didn't tilt seat forward, while it wasn't needed on driver's side because it was occupied?

Plastic cover shouldn’t be grey for 68?
