    Need 1971 Coil/CDI wiring diagram

    Does anyone have this diagram for a 1971 ?

    '71 is the same except no relay , wire comes from the ignition switch and connects directly to B at the CD box .

    Where did you get that wiring schematic,,,,there was no CD ignition in 65 to 68. all you need is the standard 71 factory wiring schematic. Probably available online.

    I wonder if anyone following this thread can help with my tach problem.
    Car would not start so I thought CDI box, during swap for a good CDI box a spark happened? Bad move yes, now car starts and runs but tach does not function. Wire diagram shows speed box in the run of tach from points to actual tach. I have 2 very similar relays on the panel beside CDI box but which one is speed switch.
    Would this be the likelihood or the tach itself. How do I check which is the culprit?
