FS: RSR 3.0 MFI Pump, RSR High Butterfly Throttle bodies, 906 Camshafts

    **Sold**

I recently purchased a 914 with a 1978 3.0 built to IROC RSR specs that has sat for 14 years. Engine was build by Riegel Tuning in Calgary, Alberta in 2001-2002.

The engine last ran around 2008 and has been in dry storage since. It had maybe 30-40 of hours since it's initial build. I don't plan on racing the 914 so I'm looking at selling off the RSR parts and building a more streetable motor.

The MFI is a genunie RSR 3.0 pump with RSR High Butterfly Throttle Bodies.

I also have 906 RSR center luber camshafts with the 3 bearing cam housings in good condition.

Package includes flexible fuel lines, 3.0 injectors, pump base, and all linkages.

I do not have any history of the pump before the build in 2001-2002.

Looking for $30,000 for the entire package.

    RSR pump:
    Case stamp: 916.110.211.00
    Tag 1: PED6KL60A120RV1668 326017,
    Tag 2 EP/RLA1 - V1077

    Throttle Bodies
    911.110.107.5R

    906 Camshaft
    901.105.103.02
    901.105.104.02

I'm happy to hear some feedback on the parts and the pricing. Being such a rare set of parts, it is hard to determine pricing.

You have some nice parts for sale. In the past 10-15 years the reproduction industry has become quite impressive. This is for fuel delivery and ignition. The prices are far below original. This causes the demand for original less. Don’t get me wrong, there is still a market for it, but those building hot rods don’t need original. The reproduced parts are better performers in most cases and again a lot less money. You are looking for someone who NEEDS original parts that is restoring a ST or RSR. In my opinion, your asking price is high.

As Rick said before, your audience for the above as a package is pretty low. I have bought most of the above parts as originals for my replica, but I'm probably a bit of an exception.
I think, if I were you, I would try to individually sell these parts; I'm pretty sure the 3.0 Injection pump and RSR high butterflies specifically would sell pretty quickly if the price is reasonable.
(I also think you're on the high side of the market re asking price)

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look at trying to sale them individually.
