    Sunroof Guts

Stuff removed from my own 71 911T. I've now got a true "sunroof delete". There are a couple of very small part that have been misplaced, but everything else is there and was in working order when removed. Just like the favorite saying "ran when parked". $500.00 OBO, shipping not included. No, I won't sell the, flip up wind deflector parts, separately. I'm just trying to eliminate clutter from my garage. What you see in the pictures is what you get.

    Coiple of questions…
    - looks like the cables are black and later version ?
    - looks like the rails for cables are also black and later version ?
    - the insulation is covering the end of the transmission shaft ,can you show the full shaft

    Thanks
    Frank

I changed the cables and rails to the later style a few years ago. I've never been asked to post a picture of my full shaft before but here goes......
When I informed my wife of 50 years that my full shaft was just short of 4 inches, she said "That's not what you have told me for the last 5 decades".

Thanks for clarifications , great set of everything needed !
Yes that shaft is quite small but it’s certainly better than no shaft..

Just a technical question …..i understand that the large center screw on the transmission acts to engage the the motor drive
Without it the drive motor just slips on the cable …..so its almost like a clutch
    Is this true ?

Thanks looks like a good buyer who really needs most items
So rare to find a match like this
    Congrats to both

... and at the risk of being way too off color, curious what are going to fill the hole with? Will you weld in a panel?

It was filled with a plug from England. It was "bonded" not welded. Some would say my Sepia Brown car is off color.

I've still got this stuff taking up space in my garage.
