    72T gearbox serial match?

Inquiring on a 72T and wanted to see if this serial number would be inline with a 1972 911T.

    7329576

I imagine the '2' is for 1972. CoA states 'information not available' for the transmission number, so just trying to see if the gearbox year is at least matching.

    TIA

Thank you! Is this kind of info in the ‘red book’ or is there something I can buy to show me all the gearbox codes for each model year?

It is all in the factory "technical specification" books
    there are three of them
one for cars up to the end of 1968
    one for 69,70 and 71
    one for 72 and 73
they are not expensive and can be found on line at ebay or even on this site from time to time a WTB post might flush out some for you

Maybe worth OP buying Brett Johnston’s latest 911/912 Authenticity guide (ideally from him direct to include the online photo gallery and edirial updates). I suggest this book because seen a range of questions from the OP on different authenticity-type topics and this recent updated book a pretty good summary of 911 changes by year. A sensibly priced primer. Search the forum to find the post by Brett about details or if can’t find I’ll dig out the website details.

    Edit: this is site. https://tpr-inc.com/product/the-911-...thenticity-ii/

Also available other sources but direct has advantages
