'. . . 1973 Porsche 911S Targa is a non-running project that is finished in red over black leatherette and houndstooth cloth upholstery. Power comes from a 2.4-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black removable roof panel, a brushed stainless steel Targa bar, an aftermarket rear bumper, a rear reflector panel, black bumperettes, Bosch fog lights, replacement side mirrors, and 15″ Fuchs wheels as well as air conditioning and an aftermarket Boman Astrosonix AM/FM stereo. The car was acquired by the owner in 2022 as a non-running project with peeling paint, spots of rust, and mechanical and fuel system issues. This 911S Targa is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with removed parts and a clean Ohio title in the current owner’s name.
. . . previously finished in silver and was repainted in red at some point under prior ownership. Exterior details include a black removable roof panel, a brushed stainless-steel Targa bar, a replacement rear bumper, a later-model rear reflector panel, Bosch fog lights, and replacement side mirrors. The seller notes worn paint, bubbles near the rocker panels, and rock chips around the car. The decklid grille is missing, and the rubber seals are cracking.
Alloy 15″ Fuchs wheels exhibit curb rash and are mounted with 185/70 Goodyear Eagle GT tires. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners. The seller notes that the brake system and dampers will need attention before driving.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leatherette with houndstooth cloth inserts accompanied by a black dashboard and door panels. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, a Boman Astrosonix AM/FM stereo, vent windows, and rear-mounted Pioneer speakers.
. . . five-digit odometer indicates 84k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 2.4L flat-six does not run. The engine stamping 6331507 is pictured in the gallery below. A mechanical evaluation included in the gallery states the fuel lines are leaking at the fuel pump, the fuel pump is not mounted, the S-hose needs replacement, the throttle linkage is seized, and the heat exchangers and mechanical injection pump need to be rebuilt.
Rust penetration is present near the jack points as well as on the front pan, in the wheel wells, and on the rockers . . .'
