    3rd brake light

    Hello Group,

Just wondering what options are available for installing
a 3rd brake light on our early 911's?
I have the 911R rear housing lights on mine and they are very dim.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Custom brake lights on a custom decklid grill.
I’m installing them now. I wired in on the drivers side brake light.

I fitted this with 2 LED lamps and it's fairly bright.

What Chris did, just splice it in. The LED strip is only like 3w total, there is no draw.

I have a 6v version in my 356, it wakes the driver behind you up for sure.

With my headliner down, I was able to add LEDs up in the vents, up high.

I saw a 911 with the big round Bosch to the left of the license plate, it was really nice.

I added one in the space left vacant by a relocation of the exhaust pipe.
