    Dash Switch #8082?

    Hi All,

My '70 project was disassembled when purchased, so I get the added enjoyment of figuring out what really goes on the car from all the boxes :-)

Anyway, I sorted all the electrical relays and switches, except for one switch. I have one switch that was in the box with all the other dash switches, but not really sure what it is. It may not even be for a 70 911. There is no Porsche number but stamped 8082 on bottom of switch. I searched the forum, and found similar switches with references to Fog or Rear Defroster switch (not sure if same switch). Anyone confirm from from pics?

Edit: The Targa came with Two Stage rear defroster and I have that switch.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Jimmy.

The switch must be a spare. The car doesn't have Fog lights and no indication it ever did and I have the two stage defroster switch, so I have no use for it. I was just not sure if that switch was used for anything else.
