    1964 Steel wheels 3.7 and 3.9 stamps

What is the consensus on these wheels? Where they both used on 901 early 911 cars? Was the 3.7 for 356 and the 3.9 for 901/911?
What do these numbers represent? Thanks in advance

The 64 and 65 356 Carrera's also had the 3.9 wheels. I have a Service Bulletin somewhere about it, I'll start digging.
