Presented as “Recaro-style” sport seats removed from a 67S…
Style or true or modified ‘68 or ?
The police is probably going to remark the 4 holes in the sliders and other points.

They don’t say they are Recaro seats

hi, these are definitely not 1967 recaros. Otherwise, the condition of the seats is visible to everyone - I don't like them. the execution of the restoration deviates too much from the original (including later years of construction) in many respects. the saddler was more "average" gifted. Hope I could help a bit.

yeah, i'm surprised too. hopefully this will not disappoint the buyer. the seller doesn't claim that these are 1967 recaros, but take a look at the details on the pictures - for example how the rails "interlock"... regards uwe
Seller now states these are actual Recaro seats.

yes, that corresponds to my many years of recaro experience. I would say that 9 out of 10 1967 recaro sport seats offered are not 1967 recaro sport seats. but also applies to other seat models: many offers of any kind of seat are removed from porsche 911 with the note "ennobled". is that supposed to say what exactly? that it is a porsche seat? why was it removed and offered for sale? another example of the recaro knurled screw seat: the real (lightweight) porsche version is quite rare. not surprising, since it was only installed in the 2.7 carrera sport and some RSR. nevertheless, almost every aftermarket recaro knurled screw seat is offered as a "carrera RS seat". the examples show how the b.a.t. offer: expertise is important if you value originality, otherwise you're wasting a lot of money.

I thought these seats were previously on BAT and first listed as 911 Recaros, but after a big blow up from people, BAT changed it to "style" seats. But I can't find that listing anymore. I swear these are the same exact pictures.
That was a different auction and those were completely obviously reproductions.
