    1971 911T oil line to cooler placement

    I have recently installed new Porsche oil tank and oil line from tank to cooler. Placement of line appears to hang to low just below heat exchanger. Maybe it's ok but Im not sure.
    Part number is 901 107 301 13. Pushing the line up seems to push it to close to the valve cover. Any help appreciated.

    The line just needs to shorter, compare it to the line you took off. Unfortunately someone got the length wrong when supplying these. Brad Davis on this site can fix that for you.

    All the replacement suction hoses with the screw on fittings are that long, (too long).
