Door handle, lock cylinder removal without proper key

I am replacing the left exterior door handle on my 73 car due to a broken mechanism. I am trying to remove the lock cylinder from the replacement handle, but I do not have the corresponding key. This will enable me to install the 73 lock cylinder into the replacement handle, for correct car keying.

The lock cylinder easily releases from the broken 73 handle using its key. The replacement handle lock cylinder will not release using the 73 key.

Any suggestions removing this lock cylinder. Rob
