    1967 Controller Bowden Cable

I would appreciate recommendations on sourcing or machining the above cable to control the fresh air vent in by 1967S. It is getting cold in New England! There are no NOS parts. Aase has one for later models only. I would also like to know the type of steel cable originally used and any diagrammmatics/measurements of the original cable system.
    Thanks,
    Roy Ruff
