901 Transmission rebuilt to "airport" ratio Sports Purpose Gearing

Very Nice 902/1 designation gearbox, Serial number shows it was originally a 912 5 speed box. Was totally rebuilt and gear sets changed to emulate the rare 901/77 'airport' gears available in the Porsche sports purpose Catalog in 1969.

    Ratios are:
    Ring and pinion 7.31

    1st AA 12:34
    2nd FG 18:34
    3rd J 21:31
    4th O 23:28
    5th. S. 25:26

This is a Close ratio gearset designed for small tight circuits.

This Box was Built in 2016 for a 1967 911R Replica that has only travelled 790 miles since then, when it was crashed and written off this year. No damage to engine or Gearbox.
Has 94mm CV flanges, speedo drive, complete fork and throwout bearing, and a SWB crossmember fitted.basically straight out of the car. I have the CV half shafts complete too and they go with it if you require them.
    Asking $5,000.00 .
Will crate properly for shipping.Located in Central Texas.
A rare opportunity if you are building a Sports Purpose type car or 911R replica.

    Price reduced to US$4000.
This gearbox is practically brand new, and perfect for a 911R replica or sports purpose build.
I will crate for free, for your courier to pick up, or you can collect it in Johnson City, Texas.
    Thanks!

    Hi Mate,
I'm keen on the box but being in Australia, postage is very expensive. Would you take $3500 and ship to a US address ? It's a freight forwarding company called MyUS.
Feel free to call or message me.
    Regards,
